I just cut power. When I want to power up, I just apply power and the computer comes online. I have googled this problem and find the most likely cause is a driver problem. Is anyone aware of any program/software to diagnose or fix all or most drivers on a system? Or is there any way to remedy this other then a complete system restore. I sure hope so. > > Thanks > Hi Tom
If you have Wondows XP Pro you could try the following: Go to Start>> Control Panel>> Power Options. Select the APM tab. Place a checkmark in the "Enable Advanced Power Management support" check box. Click OK and exit the Control Panel. Your computer should successfully complete the shut down process. Paris ------------------------ Yahoo!
