Hello,
I have an older ( 6-7yrs I think) PC that works VERY well for its age
and history ( recent reformat after dealing with syware). Its
puttering right along, but i need to upgrade the memory. Only has
64MB...now stop that giggling, you guys....I am a scardy cat...afraid
to open the tower and I know I can do this myself, right?
Anyway, I bought more ram awhile back but never added it in. Its 128
and is really all I need I think...WHAT TO DO?
Do I add the 128 to what's already there?
OR take out the 64 and replace it with the 128 only.
CAN'T remember, I think there are three slots...also can't remember, I
think I read somewhere a long time ago the 128 should be in the fisrt
slot and then the small one, the 64 in the second slot. Is this true?
Amy good tutorials on HOW to do this memory upgrade...I need step one,
step two.
Violet
