Remember that you can solve some of that kind of problem by using the XP
system restore. What I also do is to use Symantec Ghost. I clone the C
partition to another partition on the drive. I create the Ghost clone right
after I have run my recover system, i.e. disks or the built in program that
draws from the hidden partition.
