If your computer is running slower than it once did perhaps you need
to run 2 or 3 Malware scanners such as Spybot Search and Destroy,
Ewido and AdAware. Also a virus scan might be a good idea if you
haven't done one recently. Another thing, have you installed
additional programs that may be taxing your system resources?
I run XP Pro on my desktop and XP Home on my laptop. Both seem to
run at the same speed.
