Never AAA U ME! :-) The only way to know is to try. Of course there are some 'bertter' programs than add-remove control panel. Like 'add-remove4good. http://4developers.com/addremove/ It seems more complete to me. I don't know whether it is better, but I use it on machines where I have it installed.
