.......... If I
am in my email and I have some pics I want to save and do not want to
use the space on my master drive and want to save them on my slave
drive, How do I do that? Can anyone please explain how that is done? I
do know it is possible to do.

Hi Cindy:
Whenever you have a page or window open on your PC you can save the
active page to anywhere on your PC. For example, when you are using
AOL or Internet Explorer and you want to save the open page click on
"File" in the upper left corner, then click on "save as" and you will get
the
save window and you can browse to any location. Click the arrow on the
line that says "Save in" and you will see every location on your PC. Some
will be drives or folders and you can click on them to find the locations on
the drive or in the folders.

You will see your second drive. Click on it and it will open with the
contents.
If you find a folder that is suitable, click on it then on Save. If you
want to
place your picture in a new folder, you can create one by clicking on the
little square tool that lets you create a new folder. What ever folder you
want
to use will need to be clicked on so it takes it's place on the "save in"
line,
then you must type in a name for your file or picture then click save.
Remember that using the "save as" command you can save the top page
or window to anyplace on your PC and to as many different places as you
want any number of times.

You can move your data folders such as My documents into your second
drive by highlighting the folder and using the "move" command. This works
the same as the save command except that it moves a folder from it's
original location to the location you chose. There is a good reason for
doing this because then you can save all your data to the second drive
so that it will be safe in case of an Operating System failure on drive "c"

If you decide to do this maybe some of us can explain it a bit better.
