My mom's computer always wants to connect whenever she starts it.
We called tech support and they told us to first do a live update and
then run a virusscan. If this did not solve our problem, we were
supposed to download Windows Defender and run this to search for
spyware. Neither the virusscan nor WD found anything. My mom did
all her window updates including Service Pack 2 plus the virusscan
plus Windows Defender, and she did not find anything. The computer
still does the same thing after all that. Is there anything anyone
knows about that can help our situation?
My mom's computer has Windows Xp and uses Norton Systemworks as a
virusscan.
