Hello Awhite

What OS?

My suggestions would be to download Spybot and Adaware, install both, update
definitions and run both programs. If you still have problems, turn off System
restore, start in Safe Mode and run both programs again and after that don't
forget to turn System Restore back on again.

While in Safe Mode you could also try scanning your computer with your AV
program. Also consider installing and running Windows Defender and Windows
Malicious Software removal Tool

Good Luck

Hi everyone!! I am having problems with my desktop computer. I
recently downloaded a peer to peer program, and every since; my
computer freezes up on me; while loading the desktop icons. A balloon
at the bottom says serious adware/spyware problems, so I am trying to
fix that. Since the computer will not start completely on its on, I
started in safe mode, to load the adware/spyware disk that I have.
Once the check was ran, it deemed 18 serious risks, and I called
myself fixed the problems. The computer did not freeze up on me
afterwards, but this morning I restarted it, and it froze up on me
again. Any suggestions?
