Hi Rupert, I had just never seen anything like it before. :)
My new hard drive is an OEM version--didn't come with box, cables, or instructions. On no!! Fortunately I've installed two before and still have the instructions for one of them. Of course I didn't take offense at your blonde joke. I'm 56 years old so I've heard plenty. :D (My roots used to be blonde, now they're gray!)
