Look do a virus scan in safe mode, and the same with a spyware  scan.  Use 
other spyware products, don't rely on Norton and  AOL.
Try the the trial version of Ewido and the free version of  A-squared they 
seem to look for different stuff from other applications.   Reboot after 
running 
each program if these find anything.

I would recommend Spybot but norton conflicts with it  LOL 
But you can still use Adaware
