Without some history who can tell. How old is the machine? The current MAC
is OS X but that has several permutations. Has she owned the machine from
the beginning? I own a Mac MINI but I am not a Mac guru, I'd say that going
to a Mac forum will yield a lot more useful anwers, and they'd be less
likely to be guesses.
