Your answer didn't help me out too much. Let me ask this. She said there's no OS on the MAC....does that make sense? Can anyone tell me what I am suppodes to look for on her computer. Wouldn't it just come with an OS?? Mackintosh computers I am certain almost invariably come with the Mac OS installed. Ask her if she has been using it? If she ask her how it works without an OS? I think I am right in saying that you can now install Windows - but why would you want to except for the greater availability of games and other software. Mac users pride themselves that they never have all the problems that windows have. Peruse the archives of this Group and see when a Mac user last asked for help? I hope this answers your questions.
