It said "BSOD" ... but the letters were in blue so Sandra probably couldn't see
it LOL !

Sandra ...
As Paris said, more information needed. I don't know where you are in the
World
but here in the UK you first of all need to have BB switched on at your nearest
exchange and confirmation from your ISP that your BB account has been
successfully set up and ready for use. The ISP usually provide either a usb BB
modem or more commonly these days a BB wired/ wireless router. The final piece
of the jigsaw is an installation cd, which you use to set everything up and
also
a "help booklet" with a telephone number to call if you encounter any problems.

What is your OS, what equipment are you using and what exactly did you do
before
you got the BSOD ... which is suspiciously like W98 or worse still WME.

I have decided to go with my phone company to get broadband and tried
setting it up myself, but a blue screen came up on my computer and
won't download my broadband. So I turned the computer off and decided
not to do it myself. Why did the blue screen come up? What does that
mean and what do I do now? Thanks for all of your help...Sandra
