This [see subject] happened the first week I had the computer, I ran the update program fro Everest Home. The machine shuts down withing seconds of running Everest Home. The solution is weird. The Dell tech suggested that I unplug the ram sticks and replug them, strangely that worked. Maybe there is a problem with their ram or smething like that. Thinking that this might have been a fluke, I tried the Everest upgrade again and it did the same thing. I'm wondering whether this is something that I should press with Dell, software messing up the ram in this way? I want to solve the problem while it is still in warranty. And it sounds like something that some other program might also cause too.
