Does anyone know how i can get Windows 2000 on this laptop?
Hi:
Sounds like you have no Operating System present on this PC and you have the
Bios set for the PC to start from the hard drive which it cannot do because
you have no OS installed..
You will need to make a change in your boot order so the PC will boot from
the CD ROM. When it does try to start from the CD ROM watch the screen
closely and "press any key to boot from the CD" when you are asked.
You will need to know how to get into the bios settings on your PC because
almost all OEMs do it different.
For suggestions.......Try pressing one of the following as the PC is trying
to start.......Esc, Del, F1, F2, F10 or F12. If you see your message again
you have waited too long. Try again.
Most suggest you tap the suggested key repeatedly from the time you first
press the start button so that you will not miss. If you see the error
message
you have gone by.
