Hi, I need to know if there is a way to get rid of files. I did a defragment and I only have 56% of space and am concerned that I need to get rid of files (like hidden ones). I have a Dell with Intel Celeron, windows xp. I have internet explorer and firefox also. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you...hugs ^v^ ^v^ ^v^~~~~ Paris's Reply ~~~~^v^ ^v^ ^v^ How old is your system, and how large is your Hard Drive? Why do you think you should have more space available? All this is relevant as is the amount of usage that it sees. The last thing you want to mess with is the hidden files, as these are the really important ones, that are hidden to protect your operating system. Or do you mean the equally important recovery partition? Please explain your reasons, and your circumstances and don't do anything rash. Good luck in the meantime.
