My CD, DVD, Drives, Printer and Scanner have disappeared. One day they were there, a few days later they were gone. When I click My Computer, it does not show the CD or DVD Drives. It shows the A-Drive the C-Hard Drive and the USB-Drive, but no CD-Reader or DVD-Burner. Also no Printer or Scanner under control-panel. They were all there and working fine a few days ago. Now the Computer does recognize any of them. I tried disconnecting every thing. Re-starting, hooking it back up and re-starting again several times. But still nothing. There is not much I can do until I get it to find at least one of the CD-DVD Drives. Anyone familiar with this kind of problem? I have been running Windows XP for a few months now. Don't know much about it.
