There are a number of audio conversion programs around. One I have used for a
long time now is WavePad - this is a free program & download from
http://nch.com.au/wavepad/ it's only about 400kb to download, and you can
convert just about anything to anything. It will certainly convert wma to mp3
files. Also you can manipulate the file, cut out or insert silence, do fade-in
or out, & do all that stuff. You will not be disappointed.
