I am trying to figure out what is with my mouse, or my scroll settings.
When I am online, If I click on a message to add something, highlight,
whatever...I get this circle that appears with up and down arrows in
it. It won't let me highlight, I can't click on a button without
hitting enter to activate it, I can't get a dropdown menu. If I click
on something for a dropdown menu, it will appear for a fraction of a
sec and disappear. I figured out some shortcut keys to function a
little. This doesn't ALWAYS happen. Just most of the time. I can't
double click on anything, even on my desktop on in my files. I have
to click and hit enter to open a file. I have my mouse set at "slow"
clicking speed and it still doesn't work.
So, do I need a new mouse? Is there some kind of setting I am
unaware of? I have Windows XP, Office 2003. I do have this same kind
of pointer problem in Word. I would sure appreciate some suggestions.
Thanks,
Anita
