Well I do not think dual booting is a problem with the two versions myself as long as the user is OK with the partition program gpart and the need to shrink the Vista partition.As for drivers they will be on two separate partitions, so only the vista may have given problems and I assume the user is using Vista now OK. Also I do not think it is because they are overwhelmed but because they want to use stuff that may be difficult on vista.
