Ah so I do both, sync and backup.

And its best to have small programs like SycBack which are not trouble to
load on the new install for backup..

I have also tried  free "Good Sync"  works fine and easy to  do.  And I use
Free Microsoft "Synctoy"  also good.  If they all  work the same I prefer
Synctoy because it lets you make a number of  "Pairs"  so that for each sync
you
need to do, you can select the  pair you want without changing the GUI.  You
might  habitually synchronize different drives, or flash or different 
folders,
and the paths are set up in pairs.
