For anybody looking for a New Laptop I'd like to input these  comments.
 
My 17"  Toshiba  Laptop has gone back to Toshiba with a problem  twice in the 
last 2 years and response time has been excellent.  Once on  the first 
warrantee and once on the extended warrantee.  You call them and  they ask a 
few 
questions and then they send you to the nearest UPS.  The  UPS provides the 
packaging and sends the Laptop off No charge.  Both times  the computer was 
back in 
4 days by UPS to my door, no charge.  The first  time they put in a new 
battery and the second time they fixed a power supply  problem.  Now it's 
pretty 
hard to beat that.
