Once again we have a problem (I know, old story here!)

Yep:
Same story, same problem.........At the risk of being redundant, I'll say
it again. "Considering the importance, and the inability to replace pictures
and movies, I cannot understand why people do not make masters to CD as
soon as they plug the camera or photo card into the computer.

When the card opens, or the camera opens, on the desktop, all it takes is a
CD in the drive, then right click the picture folder, then click 'SendTo",
then select the CD burner. The computer does the rest. This makes a Master
to label, put away, and never used again, hopefully, but in case..........

If one is using the XP CD burner there is another step. You will be asked
to click "burn the files to CD" or somesuch, Vista has a "burn to CD" button
on almost all open windows. After that you can proceed to transfer, sort,
duplicate, store or whatever.

If this helps someone it will be worth it. Bye

Emile
