Sorry Lydia but that is one of the oldest scams in the computer world. You Ram chips could have just worked loose say but they sell you new and upgrade you. I also consider you were overcharged for the memory. All that said at least you have a better memory set up now.
I do hope you get it going right, pity you don't live close by, I would fix it for nothing. -------Original Message------- From: lydia hensel Date: 18/12/2007 00:21:52 To: [email protected] Subject: [A-1-Computer_Tech] previous question sorry when i wrote my last question i was being interrupted, i took my tower in, on the invoice he wrote"ran down diagnostics until got to RAM, substituting good RAM for suspected bad, removed old memory and installed new. taking me from 256MB to 512MB. someone wanted to know what i was charged, it cost 25.00 for the service and repair and 69.50 for the 512 pc3200. i will try all the suggestions i received so far. thanks again for the help lydia _____________________________________________________________________________ ______ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo!
