You should be able to remove McAfee and install the antivirus of your
choice. I personally recommend Avast. You can download it FREE from
http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html
Hope this helps,

Subject: [A-1-Computer_Tech] McAfee and Norton Protection

Just got a new Gateway notebook with Vista Home Premium.

It has 3 months free McAfee.

I have tried both Norton and McAfee in the past and they always seem to
be such a bother.

Does anyone have an opinion as to whether we really need to have these
programs.

Is the new Vista Premium have enough to keep our computers safe?
