Thanks Ian, My subscription from Norton runs out I think in December- I will consider this.
What is Pandasoftware exactly? And what does it do? What normally is the cost? I think I pay $60.00 for Norton and it cost the same either way for an upgrade or the newer version. I think one of the better things about Norton Systemworks is that is a "TOY" - I have had this since 2000/2001 and never had any virus or other attacks on my system- I had to get rid of worms on my husband's system when he purchased his DELL and that was the time that WINXP first came out- I was still working with WIN98. ( I luv Win98 and hated to let it go) Linda -------Original Message------- From: Ian Date: 8/13/2008 2:45:43 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [A-1-Computer_Tech] Iomega Zip Drive Norton is the worst. Go to Symantec.com and get the removal tool and get rid Then get Pandasoftware.com or Nod32 fron Eset, com Panda is the beeter one because it comes with a firewall. The last few times I have tried to download and /or install anything it took me all day to get my system back useable- My Norton GO-Back would get up to 50% and then crash. I am getting to believe that NORTON is not as good as I though- I am not able to do what I really want to do. :-( What is double post?
