I have used it for years because it protects, but does it all without any disturbance of my computer use. I think one of the better things about Norton Systemworks is that is a "TOY" - I have had this since 2000/2001 and never had any virus or other attacks on my system- I had to get rid of worms on my husband's system when he purchased his DELL and that was the time that WINXP first came out- I was still working with WIN98.
