It's up to people to evaluate advice and act accordingly. I think most people recognize the risk of not having a secure password, but they may not realize that plain language is much less secure. Hi: I thought that was about the same thing I said Jim. However, I believe that some of the dangers are definitely over inflated, and I still can't believe a responsible account would allow more than 4 tries to crack a password. So, all this talk of someone using robotic input to try and crack a password simply has no credence to me. I've been blocked for 24 hours on some of my accounts after 3 repeated failures. You can't pick a password in 3 tries. But as we both seem to say, everyone will do what they are comfortable with. You and I will continue to make suggestions but some will not accept that or feel the need. Just like BACKUPS, we feel strongly about the need but some people are comfortable doing nothing.
