Hello, I am a new member and would like assistance with a computer
error problem I have been getting on my Dell Computer for some time
and have been unable to figure out how to correct it.
Here is the error message I receive at start-up:
Blue screen on my computer
"Diskette Drive 0 seek failure. Drive 1 not found: Serial ATA, SATA-
2"
There is additional information on an error code with a lot of 0's
and alpha and numeric numbers. I am given the option to press F1 key
to continue or F2 for setup. I just press F1 and my computer slowly
brings up the desktop and then I go from there.
Also, at random times I get a "Blue Screen" with something about a
file dump is about to start. I just re-start my computer to get
around this. I will have to right down the specific message and post
it at another time unless someone understands what this 2nd message
is about.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
