> You do have a Recovery Disc? If not please tell us what make of
> Computer you are using,
I have been through this. A few years ago computer companies started
creating recovery partitions instead of providing recovery disks. They
instructed users to create the disks since the machines usually had at
least a CD burner. In fact my wife's laptop took 12 disks to create
the recovery set. I accidentally blew away the recovery partition on
the computer I bought for my brother. I had to call up the company to
get a recovery CD. Since then companies seem to have gone back to the
recovery disks. Or even both disks and the partition.
So if you have the instruction manual it should tell you how to
contact the mfg. Then you can contact them and ask what a recovery
disk will cost. I think my brother's disk cost around $10, I think it
was out of warranty. Most computer mfgs have web sites where you can
download drivers, etc.
