what would happen if I run "cookies" and then delete them all, if that is
possible? Will something horrific happen to my computer? or will Cl and
other
websites not be able to find me anymore?
Hi:
If you type the path I gave you into the "RUN" box, you will find your
cookies. When I say \Username\ that means you must type the name of your OWN
user account. If you have multiple user accounts they will all have their own
cookies. You can delete ALL the cookies you can find in any user account and
it won't hurt your computer one bit. It will take you a bit longer to get
back into the web sites that created them but if you go back to them they will
just put them back in. You can block all cookies but usually if a site can
not enter a cookie, they will not let you use the site. Everybody has
cookies, and cookies are not known to cause problems. The cookie folder has
an
index that you will not be able to delete.
You can delete all cookies from Control Panel>>Internet options folder.
To select the ones you want deleted you must go to the cookie folders.
Cookies are mostly giberish but the name of each usually tells you where it
came
from.
If you use "search to find the cookie folders you may get folders from
all user accounts. Bye
Emile
