yes had to remove the drive and replace it i got it working now thanks any way

hey i have a acer aspire 3000 and i installed xp on it after i had to
replace the hard drive i went to acers web site and downloaded the
drivers including the wireless for the broadcom card and when i
installed it its still not showing the card not even in device manager
its like the card has stoped working altogeather.
