As far as the USB issue, I had that issue with my Flash Drive, and then Windows 
7 Beta asked me to make it compatible and saved the process. At first I didn't 
know what it was really asking me but I went with it.  Everything is going 
smooth so far. So, give it another try and see if you get that Prompt.

Testing Windows 7 Ultimate now on an old PC, seems OK so far.

It installed fine on my MacBook via VMWare Fusion but didn't recognise USB
or my network card :-P
