OK, The version of this thread was pretty garbled so I will start by  
asking:
Why do you want to access hidden files? It's not difficult. Click on  
My Computer, then click Tools on the right end of the Menu list. Now  
click Folder Options.

Now scroll down to a manilla folder icon labeled 'hidden files...
There are two options below that, the selected one [green dot] says  
'do not show hidden files'
Click the other option 'show hidden files'.

Now wherever you go in My Computer will show any hidden files.

Of course this will make what you see even more cluttered. So you will  
need a good reason to view these files.
If you were told to view some specific hidden files in some particular  
location on your computer, here's what I would suggested. Go to the  
area of interest, THEN follow the above tip on showing hidden files.  
Then find the target file(s) do with them what you need to. Then go  
back and recheck the option to not show hidden files.
