That has always been considered dangerous, although I have two programs, old ones, that run without even being installed. Those could be deleted. Also I assume that you are also talking about Vista, since XP does have the add-remove option in Control Panel. Hi: They all have the Add/Remove Option, even WIN7, But if a program does not appear in the Add/Remove option, there really is not any other way to get rid of it except to delete it's Program files.......Most times if a program is not listed in the Add/Remove option it will not be in the registry either, but one should check anyway. then you need to be sure it is not in the Startup menu either, otherwise it will bug you about not being able to start, There are Uninstal programs one can try but usually for them to work they must have been in place when the program was installed. That's like closing the barn door after the horse has gone. Every time you just delete a programs's files there is a chance of having a problem but there is really no other way if it is not in the Add/Remove option and the program uninstall Icon does not work.. just delete every part of the program you can recognize. If there are references in the registry they need to be removed. Sometimes a registry cleaner will get rid of them. Bye Emile **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above.
