i have an older router. linksys wrt54g i think is model. one of the pins that connects the antenna broke and i opened it up to look and its like a piece of plastic that was attached to it that broke. is there a way i can get that little piece fixed, or better yet is there a way i can hook up a pair of coax rabbit ear antennas to it and make a better signal range? its supposed to get me up to 54mbps but im getting about 5.5 mbps and its only around 28 feet away from router.
i might also just buy a new router. i got wireless G network card by TP-Link and linksys router. if i buy a wireless N router will i be able to connect still? im aware if i am i will only be able to get 54mbps because wireless card isnt wireless N. ------------------------------------ If you have any questions or problems with any aspect of this site, please feel free to contact me directly [email protected] Please do not post personal issues directly to the group.
