Yes, as far as I know wireless N routers are completely backward 
compatible with older B and G formats.  But be sure to check out the 
requirements on the box just to be sure.

I guess your Wrt54g didn't come with removable antennas?  I dunno if you 
can patch the broken part back together - I doubt that it's worth trying 
to pay someone to fix it.  If you router does have removable antennas 
you can maybe buy a new one on ebay cheap.  Here's one I found with a

It's probably better just to buy a new router - it'll be more stable, 
with a longer range.  And they aren't very expensive if you get them on 
sale.
