I run Secunia PSI which flags insecure and end-of-life programs on my computer. Lately (the last several months) it has been flagging XP Pro Service Pack 3. I've done all the upgrades that Microsoft shows but the Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 Framework 3.5 Family Update for ..NET versions 2.0 through 3.5,and two other .NET updates, one for Windows XP x86 (KB982424) and the other Windows XP x86 (KB982168).
When I go to Microsoft to upload and install them it uploads and then states they haven't been installed. I don't really even know if I use them and, if not, I don't know where to find the files to uninstall them. I do have some backups of an old drive on my computer and other locations of backups so that complicates it too. This is getting annoying and I hope someone has a solution (like you always do).
