Hi Holly -
I'm not sure I understand the prob.  I dunno much about Secunia, but if 
it's flagging SP3 as a threat, I wouldn't pay much attention to it.  
Apparently it is giving you false positives on some normal, standard, 
windows updates.
So I would just ignore the Secunia warning.

But if you are saying that you aren't able to install some MS updates - 
like the .net Framework, I would first try lowering or temporarily 
disabling some of your security and anti-virus settings to see if you're 
able to download and install them - then change the settings back if you 
want.
There have been some known issues about being unable to install the .net 
Framework, but MS suggests disabling your security apps while trying to 
install to see if that works.
