I have a Fujitsu Laptop that I bought some 5 or 6 years ago. I used it a lot
just for a few extensive (5-6 months) business trips. It always worked well
with no problems evident. I also always used it with the power adapter and
very rarely on the battery alone. The last time I used it was this past July
and it had no problem.

I am trying to start it now and it it does nothing. I plug in the adapter and
there is a light on the panel so I know it is getting power. I checked the
adapter and it seems to be putting out the correct voltage. I found a like
battery on eBay and purchased it thinking the original battery might be causing
a problem but received it and the problem is the same. (good thing I didn't
pay much for it!) I'm ready to reluctantly take it for a diagnosis but thought
I'd give this forum a try to see if anyone has had any issue like this. I was
told by someone that it may be the motherboard. Sure hope not!

Thanks
