Are these the drivers for your model? http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/821 I dunno exactly which model you have, but the Netgear site should have the drivers. If you are forced to install the drivers "and" the software - go ahead and do it. You can choose to let windows manage your wireless network from within Control Panel. I've got 3 different wireless devices. You just choose which one to enable or disable. And I'm pretty sure there's a setting where you can choose to let Windows manage the network - instead of the software that came with the USB device.
