Since printing is working fine there's likely not a prob with
communication between computers and printer. First suggestion is
usually to download the latest drivers from the HP support site.

Also, have you tried scanning from a different program (instead of HP
Solutions Center)? Try it in Windows Live Photo Gallery. Go to Start
button, go to All Programs, and click Windows Live Photo Gallery. Under
the file menu click Import From Scanner.
If the scanner works, then the prob must be with the HP driver software.
Again, be sure you have the latest from the HP site. You might wanna
try uninstalling it and re-installing it.

Also, you can try this from the HP support site, just to see if the
wireless component is not the problem. This method by-passes some of
the Solution Center software:
Perform the following steps if you are unable to scan directly from HP
Solution Center in Windows 7.

   1.
Click the Windows icon ( ), and then click *Computer* .
   2.
      Double-click *Local Disc (C:)* .
   3.
      Double-click *Program Files* .
   4.
      Double-click *HP* .
   5.
      Double-click *Digital Imaging* .
   6.
      Double-click *Bin* .
   7.
Locate and double-click one of the following files. You will only
      have one to choose from.
          *
            Hpiscnapp.exe
          *
            Hpqscnvw.exe
This will launch the HP Scan application.
   8.
Select *New Scan* , and then change any desired settings to the scan.
   9.
Click *Accept* to save the scan to the desired location.
  10.
Follow these steps if you need to save the scan as another file
      type, such as a .PDF:
         1.
Right-click the recently saved file to open it in another
            application, such as Microsoft Word.
         2.
Save the new scan as the desired file type.

Hopefully, one of these suggestions will help figure it out,
Good luck,
Donk
