ok i live in country (i live 1/2 a mile away from a node or whatever for dsl) and they say i cant get it. my grandma got it before she passed away. i got her dsl modem and hooked up to our house and they said they cant turn it on because we dont have it. we got a house up road from us tha thas it and within a quarter of a mile. can i get an internal wireless card and instead of the small antenna on them hook up a large antenna for like on the air tv and get wireless miles away? i noticed the ends are different and id have to buy an adapter of some sort. is that possible to do? i cant stand this dialup anymore its driving me crazy. i used to download 4kbps now its messing up and down to 500-600 bytes
