I was working in Word copying a recipe from the internet when suddenly my
entire screen turned black just long enough for me to wonder what happened,
then it came right back to what I was doing (half screen internet, half screen
Word). The following window came up saying - Display Driver NVIDIA Windows
Kernel Mode Driver Version 266.84 stopped responding and has successfully
recovered.

My question to anyone who may know the answer is: Do I just go on like
nothing ever happened or do I need to have someone look at my computer to make
sure it is ok or does it need some kind of maintenance that I need to do?

I consider myself still a novice at computers. I know absolutely nothing about
drivers or what goes on inside my computer except that I need to keep it clean
from dust and vents not covered and have it protected by antivirus. Everything
is up to date.

My computer is only 6 months old, it is an Acer Aspire X1420G, AMD Athlon(tm)II
X4, 645 Processor 3.1 GHz, 4 GB memory, 64 Bit OS, Windows 7 Home Premium.

Thanks for any help.

Susan
