This is weird.

I fixed more filters, moved some emails from my archives on my main account
into trash, and suddenly all my job/career emails (includes 6 folders)were back
in their folders. All marked unread, but definitely where they are supposed to
be. A random check shows they are readable and complete.

Rechecked their filters, all point to the right folders, the same ones they
pointed to before. They should have been no where near the archived emails or
the ones that were trashed.

I searched the entire account for these emails when I first realized they'd
disappeared. All my searches came up zilch.

How I wish this would happen on Mom's account, where we have many emails from
family and friends. But they disappeared months ago, so I've given up hope.

Having no idea what is going on, I'm going back to work :).
