You didn't give us enough information to do anything but suggest that 
you check the power settings. If it responds to activity like that in my 
examples below, it is just the power settings. If it does not respond 
then we would need to talk about maintenance and hardware.

Hours, sometimes days after my computer has gone into hibernate mode, I 
move the mouse and it starts up where it left off.

I have the screen set to turn off after 10 minutes of non use. Moving 
the mouse or touching the keypad turns the monitor back on.
