donk, i just plugged it into a tv with a hdmi, and it worked fine, what would you suggest.

Do you hear sounds as if the laptop is booting - but you can't see anything on the screen? When you say you tried 2 different "screens" I'm assuming you mean external monitors? When you try an external monitor be sure to press Fn + F4 to switch the display to the external monitor. Can you see anything on your screen at all when you boot? Try quickly tapping F10 right after you press the power button to see if you can enter BIOS setup. If the screen is totally black during boot, and an external monitor doesn't work, but you hear the pc booting up... there's not much you can do. It is probably a failed video chip on the motherboard.
