"if we have NO marketability of our produce, we are OUT of business"
Very well said.. its high time for AAU to do self analysis. Apart from 3 main
duties of AAU (Teaching, Extension and Research).. it has liability to its
produce.. I mean students.

Its time to analyse what AAU is offering, its capability and what needs to be
done to offer more. If we investigate the best graduates or post graduates for
last 5 years.. you won't find anybody in core field of Agriculture Science. It
is not at all required for AAU to retain its students by direct employment. But
should show a way for direct or indirect career of its students and I believe
AAU has the potential resource to deliver this kind of role.

And also, I believe ICAR guidelines won't allow AAU to admit general B.Sc.
students for its M.Sc.(Agri.) courses.

But, was there any analysis why students are not taking admission in M. Sc.
(Agri) classes, and even to B. Sc. (Agri) course?

I agree with Ansari and Sanjib da about the need to restructure the courses and
facilities.

In plain business term "if we have NO marketability of our produce, we are OUT
of business".

well said. The role of an institution is not just preparing its
graduates for the "market" or the business world, but to make them
worthwhile citizens of the society. Restructuring of not only courses but

also disciplines to make it current and future-looking is absolutely imp
and necessary given the dynamic nature of education and the real world.
While allowing non-BSc(ag) students to take MSc (ag) curricula may fulfil

the fulfill the student enrollment requirement, or even bring in new ideas
from a few, if it done just to fulfill the enrollment requirement, then
the future is bleak. Hope there's way to address this course of action.
