No: Scots-L was for discussion of Scottish music generally; the two
operated in parallel with distinct objectives.

Not in my book it wasn't. I objected violently to having any of my
messages reproduced with my email address in the clear; I didn't realize
this had been done, and as far as I'm concerned the only reason they're
there is because I'm too poor to get a court order to stop it. This is
just plain piracy and totally irresponsible.

Probably. When I was on it I certainly posted things that I haven't put
anywhere else. You're welcome to archive any of them, so long as I get
credited, and my email address & any personal email addresses I mentioned
are either removed or obscured beyond the recognition capacity of any
imaginable automatic address harvester.

I have been getting increasing amounts of spam to the "jc" address of
late, and I presume this is why. I have never wanted that address made
public.
