BarFly is AppleScriptable, isn't it?  So, if you've got a Mac on
your network somewhere, you should be able to tell it to:

- open the file
- go into split-screen mode
- do Print Preview
- save as PICT

and then your conversion tools can take it from there.  (The one
problem this won't fix is if the author expected landscape format
or some other offbeat viewer setting, and didn't say so in a %%Bfly
line).  Maybe BarFly might analogously be able to save its playback
as a QuickTime movie someday?

This kind of thing might be a useful route for other platforms;
I presume there's some way to drive (at least recent) Windows
applications from Visual Basic.
